There is a vast difference between the Retained and Contingency search models. Each model has a different place in recruiting and can be used effectively. However, when our clients call us it's because they need a position filled quickly and with the very best candidates in the market, not just the easy to find candidates out there. It's not just the fee structure that is different, our entire approach and process is different
The success rate of a Retained Search is over 90% and a Contingency Search is less than 32%.
WGCC works on a smaller number of searches, for a select number of companies, allowing for an exceptionally thorough recruiting process with a high degree of success. Because Contingency firms are transactional, they must work on a much larger number of searches, and have less time to spend screening and evaluating the candidates they present and may represent the same candidates for multiple positions they are working on. WGCC will provide you with candidates that have been deeply screened and are qualified and interested in your specific position.

Exclusivity
WGCC operates under exclusive contracts. That means the client will not engage (implicitly or explicitly) another entity to recruit talent for any search under contract with WGCC. By maintaing this exclusivity, our clients are ensured an effective and consistent ambassador representing the hiring executive, the open poistion, and the hiring company to the available talent pool (both passive and active prospects).
